Terp
Network
Volunteer to be a Resource
for University of Maryland
Students
The Terp Network
is a tool for students
to connect with
employers in an
informal way for networking and
career advice.
The employers who
participate in
the Terp Network
become an important
part of student’s
professional network,
and they often
have the opportunity
to meet bright,
ambitious students
who are interested
in their career
field.
As a part of the
Terp Network, students
may contact you
for an Informational
Interview or
simply to learn
more about
what you do in
your line of work.
You have the ability
to limit the number
of students who
contact you, and
you can opt out
of the Terp Network
at any time.
Please consider being
a part of this important
networking tool.
Connecting
to the Terp Network
There are two ways
for you to join the
Terp Network:
If you already have
a username and password
for our Careers4Terps online
job database, you
can access the
Terp Network by logging
in from the University
Career Center home
page. First,
click "Switch to
Employer," the link
to the right of the
Student Login heading
for the login boxes.
Once logged into
Careers4Terps,
choose the “Terp
Network Profile” link
under “quick
links” as soon
as you log into the
system.
If you do not have
a username and password
for the Careers4Terps
database, simply
fill
out a profile.
Contact Us With
Questions
If you have any questions
about the TERP Network
system, or if you
have trouble accessing
the network, contact
Mike
McDonald, University
Career Center Advisor.
