Park in the Union Lane Parking Garage-Directions from Rt. 1
Parking for employers and visitors to the University Career Center or job and careers fairs is in the Union Lane Parking Garage.

To reach it, enter campus from Route 1 turning onto Campus Drive at the main entrance (the North Gate-which has a brick gate house between the in/out roads). Proceed up the hill to the traffic circle (with the big “M” in flowers). Go halfway around and continue on Campus Drive. Right turn onto Union Lane which is just past the Stamp Student Union. The entrance to the Union Lane garage is a few yards down on your left.

Visitors: You are responsible for parking fees ($2.00 per hour, with a $10.00 per day maximum) and any tickets or fines for parking violations/citations.

Career and Job Fairs—Additional Instructions

Drop off service for fairs in the Stamp Student Union
:  If you have materials for your booth, first stop at the Drop Off area on Union Lane. It's on your right before turning into the Union Lane garage.  We take your materials to your booth.  At the end of the fair, we help load them in your vehicle.

Arrive early (7:30 am - 9:00 am for those which start at 10:00 am) to be sure to secure a space in the Union Lane Garage.  The garage, managed by the University of Maryland Department of Transportation, is reserved for employers for fairs only until 10:00 am.   At this time, it opens for students and the public.  If the Union Lane garage is full, use the Stadium Garage

The parking fee is included in your registration fee. If you get a spitter ticket, bring it to employer registration for validation. Y
ou are responsible for any tickets or fines for not adhering to the parking regulations.

On-Campus Interviewing Employers—Additional Instructions
Parking is available in the Union Lane Garage.  Directions are above. Rates are $2.00 per hour, with a $10.00 per day maximum.

Alternate Parking at Stadium Garage
When the Union Lane Garage is full, park in the Stadium Garage

Getting from Union Lane Garage to Stadium Garage:
Proceed down the Union Lane hill and turn left onto Field House Drive
.  Take Field House Drive to a small traffic circle.  Turn right on Valley Drive. The entrance to the Stadium Garage is on your right.

Walking from the Union Lane Parking Garage to the University Career Center
Exit the garage (where you drove in) turning right onto Union Lane. At the corner of Union Lane and Campus Drive, turn left and walk down Campus Drive. Walk past the Stamp Student Union and Hornbake Plaza.

The first building past Hornbake Plaza is Hornbake Library building. Enter through the single set of double doors indicating “classrooms”. (Warning: Don't enter the series of doors behind the tall pillars. This is the library wing.) Walk down the hall to the elevators.

The University Career Center is on the third floor.  The main office opens at 8:00 am for on-campus interviewing employers and at 8:30 am for all other visitors.
