Pre-Nights/Employer
Information Sessions
Every
year, 100 or more employers come to campus to
inform students about the opportunities, career paths, and
work environment. Attend
these sessions if you are about to graduate and have or would
like an interview
with the employer.
For freshman, sophomores, and juniors,
it is an excellent opportunity to explore companies early,
network with recruiters, inquire about internships, learn
the ins and outs of interacting with employers. These sessions
are offered throughout the academic year.
Learning about the employer from its Web site before the
session makes a good impression. Bring
specific questions about the organization
and
their
employment
opportunities. To show you want to work
for this organization, demonstrate your knowledge of their
products and/or services.
