Finding a Part-Time On-Campus Job

Careers4Terps Once you are registered: logon, mouseover Jobs & Internships, click Job Search, click Advanced Search. In the Position Classification box at the bottom of the page, select Part-Time On-Campus and scroll down to the Search button.

Most offices do the bulk of their hiring in September. Not so many jobs are available as the academic year progresses, but it is always a good idea to check. Summer hiring is significantly less because 34,000 students drive the business in the fall and spring. Only about 4,000 take summer classes.

Offices which hire in the summer are identified with an asterisk before the name.

Check out these UM offices. We can't guarantee they have open positions, but they employee students. However, many of them will not have jobs available after the beginning of the semester. Some offices may only be hiring students who have received a Federal Work-Study award as part of their student financial aid package. Federal Work-Study Jobs.
