| Career Assistance
Career Assistance is available in the
University Career Center's Resource Room. During these sessions,
our staff can help you plan solutions for your
career-related concerns while identifying appropriate
University Career Center resources, programs, and services. We
can critique your resume, cover letter, or graduate
school application essay. We can also help you:
- identify
what you want in your
education and career
(what you like, what
you do well, and what
you hope to get out of
college and your career);
- examine the career fields and educational programs that are well-suited to your interests and skills;
- develop a career plan and learn the skills you will need to move into your first job after college or make an effective career change in the future;
- answer questions about interviewing and the job search process; and
- connect
you to learning programs
and experiences designed
to complement your academic
major, including: internships,
research, study abroad,
living-learning programs,
leadership, and service
learning.
